Position Overview The Director of Operations plays a pivotal leadership role, overseeing multiple chef-driven restaurants within a respected hospitality group known for culinary innovation and guest‑centric excellence. This position is responsible for operational strategy, financial performance, and team development across the portfolio — ensuring that each property delivers an exceptional guest experience and upholds the company’s core values. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of operational rigor, creative problem‑solving, and an authentic passion for people and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple restaurant concepts, ensuring operational consistency and excellence. Partner closely with ownership, culinary leadership, and general managers to uphold brand standards and achieve business goals. Lead and mentor management teams, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous growth. Analyze financial performance, including P&L management, labor optimization, and cost controls, to meet and exceed profitability targets. Support recruiting, training, and succession planning efforts to build strong, values‑driven leadership pipelines. Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams on menu strategy, product quality, and guest experience enhancements. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations across all venues. Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting excellence, integrity, and genuine hospitality at every level of the organization. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in senior operational leadership. Proven success overseeing multi‑unit or high‑volume operations within a chef‑driven or elevated casual/fine‑dining group. Strong business acumen with a focus on strategic planning, financial management, and team development. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence. Deep commitment to hospitality, people development, and fostering positive workplace culture.
